“Do we need to have a meeting? ”
Yes, having a meeting is very worthwhile, even if it's just over the phone. It helps the designer get to know your company and what you do, while also giving you a better idea of what the process is. An initial consultation is free, and we can accommodate your busy schedule.
“Do I need to pay a deposit?”
We do ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit.
“After you design the website, do you maintain it?”
Anytime you have changes, just call and let us know. We charge $50 per hour for any changes or updates that need to happen.
“What do you need from me?”
Nobody knows your company like you do, so it's helpful if you can provide literature and pictures. These things can be emailed or handed to the designer. We will help make sure that what's on your site makes sense grammatically.
“Will people find me when they search Google?”
Your site will be built with web optimization in mind, but there are no guarantees that your site will be at the top of the list. There are outside companies that specialize in web optimization, but even they can't guarantee placement in search engines.
“Will my site look the same to everyone?”
You site will look mostly the same to everyone, but there may be slight differences depending on what browser the user is viewing your site with.
“What about web hosting?”
We do not offer web hosting because it's so much less expensive for you to use an online service.
We use several different companies, depending on your needs, and they are all priced at less than $10 per month.
“Does my website come with an email address?”
Most hosting companies allow you to have as many email addresses as you want, and we can help you get those set up.
